Hello,
I want to say thanks for all of the great info on this site. I have a 40 hour series 2 Tivo. I was getting the power up screen on my Tivo .It would just keep powering up then turning off then repeating . From what I read it was probable my Hard Drive .I bought a new Seagate and did the code that was giving to me.
mfsbackup -Tao - /dev/hdX (/dev/hdY) | mfsrestore -s 127 -r 4 -xzpi - /dev/hdZ (/dev/hdZZ)
It went well and it said I had I think it was 235 hours .I put a 250 gig drive in. I installed the drive back in my Tivo . It will not boot up ? I just get the green flicker again and again. I tried some different jumper settings thinking that was it. I was wondering if I should try the process again .Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Cheese
