New Single Drive For DVR40

I have a new 300GB Hard Drive I want to install in a Direct TV DVR40. I want to make a clean install and not copy anything from the old Hard Drive since I bought it used from someone and I want to start fresh without Favorites and all that other stuff. Is this possible?

It's possible to start with a "clean" install, but in your case you'll probably need to get the image from another drive. To reset your settings, perform a "clear & delete everything" which will reset all your user preferences.

That's all there is to it!
