I got a new DirectTv Tivo Same Model as the one I had after I lost the Hard Drive A and Power Supply. Can I use Hard Drive B from the old Tivo and save the stuff that was on that Hard Drive and watch it on the new Tivo? I replaced the Hard Drive on the new Tivo With A 300GB Hard Drive and copied all the stuff that was on the new Tivo to that drive. I can play all the shows that were on the Hard Drive that was in the new Tivo but not from the old drive B.

No, programming from the drive on your Directv TiVo cannot be played back by another unit. And your A & B drives, once paired, cannot be separated without reformatting.That's all there is to it! -
So drive B formatting has to erase everything on the drive to match it up to drive A? Is there anyway to remove and replace the saved programs on drive B?Comment

The only thing you can do (assuming the drive will survive the copy) is move data from one B drive onto another and pair it back with the same A drive.That's all there is to it!Comment
