  • Not sure where went wrong...Please help

I had upgraded my Series 1 (lifetime) Tivo few years back to 160GB HD from 40. It started freezing lately and everyone said HD going out and to replace. I bought another 160 GB HD and did a MFS tools backup and then copied to new HD. I used to have over 100 hrs of recording in Basic and now system says I have like 35. Before I copied I looked at both drives in MFS TOOLS and said were both same capacity. What did I do wrong and more importamtly what do I need to do to increase capacity of replacement drive to previous one. Thanks for any light you can shed on this...

You probably just need to do the expansion:

    Code:
    mfsadd -x /dev/hdX
    Been here a long time . . .
