Trouble mounting hda

Whenever I try to mount the HD using

Code:

mount /dev/hda /mnt

I get a

Code:

mount: you must specify the filesystem type

The hard drive is not locked, it isn't my original tivo drive, its a drive formatted to fat32 with the image for my box (Hughes_GXCEBOT_310c2.mfs) copied onto it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I fixed it, not sure if it was making the partition primary, but it was probably using hda instead of <b>hda1</b>

Reguardless, my box is working now!
