Old Win2k/FAT drive

I'd like to test transferrring from an old Series2 40GB (throw away Tivo) to an old 40GB drive I've used in the past with a Win2k (FAT16) system. What do I need to do with the old FAT16 drive to make it usable? Can I just boot to an old DOS disk with FDISK, wipe it clean of partitions and then use the WeaKnees CD and follow the interactive instructions?

Actually, you don't need to wipe it clean at all. Our CD will just overwrite whatever is on the destination drive (no warnings - be careful!).
