I'm using the series 3 SATA iso update
I think the only problem I'm having is that I'm not sure how to identify the hard drives
the software won't mount the drive(s) - ie not recognized
My bios & mobo begins with SATA1 not SATA0 (as described in the walkthrough)
So should SATA1 = sda (1st physical connection/drive)
or
SATA1 = sdb (described in walkthrough)
also - I have placed my original TIVO drive in an external E-SATA box attached to SATA3 on the mobo
Would this make it sdc or sdd?
Had to use ESATA solution as the SATA power cable connection in the PC was cheap and broke.
I really want to use your solution rather than InstantCake so that I don't have to have Comcast reset my cablecards.
Thanks in advance,
Schmante
