I am attempting to find some information on doing a fresh install for a TIVO Series 2 240 80GB. The original Hard drive is shot, no way to get any old info off of it. Can anyone help me with what is needed and how I go about getting the TIVO info onto a new HDD? Just and FYI, I suck at linux, so a preschool version or info would be greatly apprciated. Thanks for any help I can get.

Thanks but things are tight, so I would like to use that as a last resort.I have downloaded a couple of folders, linux-2.4 and cmd. These were mentioned to me from www.tivo.com/linuxComment
