I just replaced the hard drive in my Hughes DirecTv TiVo. Piece of cake. But now the tivo wont make its call out to get programming data. Tried a million times, called directv, called tivo - no one can figure it out. It made one test call successfully and that was it - all the other times it said "Failed: Service Not Answering."

I tried to make the call one final time, probably about the 30th time, and then the screen went green and I get a message that says "Severe Error - Do not unplug or reboot tivo". Call 800-xxx-xxxx if the tivo does not reboot itself within 3 hrs.

Wat is happening? Bad hard drive?? What can I do to fix these problems? I was told the hard drive swap was easy. I feel as though I am about to lose my Tivo for good and I am freaked out. In a huge panick. Anyone have any advice?
