Hi - I will admit that I am a newbie at hacking my TiVo. I can't even get off of the first page of the upgrade instructions. :-(

The "Service number" in my TiVo Series 2 DT is 649-0001-806E-56F0

I took a guess and looked around some of the options from the upgrade site and I'm going to post them here and see how close I came.

I guessed that my TiVo is either a TiVo DT 649080 or 649180.

Both of those only give me the option to "replace the one drive".

How am I doing so far?

My next question is, even with that setup, can I get the Twinbreeze complete DT kit (http://www.weaknees.com/dual-tuner-tivo-bracket.php) and leave the original disk in place, and add a second drive?

If so, are there instructions for that?
