300G upgrade on Series 2.

I installed an upgrade hard drive from Weaknees yesterday.

First I wanted to say thanks guys, it was so easy to follow the instruction and worked right away with no issues.

My only question is that the drive seems to be quite a bit louder the drive I previously had. I mean it spins quietly and most of the time is ok, but then it starts clicking while reading and writing. Normally I wouldn't really mind but this is the Tivo in the bedroom. Is this normal and I live with it and my 376 hours or is something wrong?

Again thanks and I can't wait to install my 500G into my DT Series 2.

The drive is usually noisiest in the first day or two when it is indexing, etc. for the first time. Are you beyond that period?

Well, both units are upgraded, and I'm enjoying the 374 and 624 hours. The ticking has subsided, thought the drives do tend to make a bit more noise then before, but quite tolerable.
