Remotes don't work after upgrade.

Upgraded DVR40 to 300 GB now remotes don't work. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?

That usually means that you had the white ribbon cable that goes to the front panel slightly or fully disconnected. Have you checked that? If that's the case, we can fix it. See #3 here:

Ribbon cable was dislodged at one point. What kind of permanent damage are we talking about? Hoe much to repair?
