Clone working drive to replace my second TiVo dead drive?

Can I clone the working drive in my first TiVo to replace my second TiVo which has a dead drive?

1st TiVo TCD240040
2nd TiVo TCD540040 (dead)

I do not have a backup image of either drive.

Sorry - no - those units need different versions of the TiVo OS. They're not cross compatible at all.

Been here a long time . . .
