Are there any instructions for the use of the LBA 48, copykern etc. around somewhere. I'd like to see them incorperated into the very usefull "Hinsdales instructions" if possible.

They're out there, but they change fairly frequency and we hear from lots of people who have problems with those for a few major reasons. Those hacks really just aren't stable enough for prime time.Been here a long time . . . -
I've tried to put a 250G drive in a series one. Seemed ok at first but as the TiVo was about half full it started to freeze up. So are you saying the LBA 48 doesn't work, or did I make a mistake in my upgrade?Those hacks really just aren't stable enough for prime time
