2nd time upgrade - DirecTV Tivo DSR7000

I bought an early Directv tivo unit (series 1?) and it died, I was able to transfer my lifetime subscription to the replacement series2 DSR7000

I then upgraded it using the Hinsdale and newer 180Hour drive...

So, I've got a modified DSR7000 that is currently at software 4.0.1b

How do I get the latest software version? (6.x?) Do I need to do another upgrade or ???

It should just upgrade. Is it connected to a phone line?

No, I thought I was told not to in the original instructions? I do have a USB=>ethernet connection and can download shows using tytools.

I did add some other hacks, tivowebplus etc....

so, hook it up and see what happens?
