I purchased the 1 tb upgrade drive for my TiVo HD TCH652 and would like to know if it’s possible to transfer my settings and programing from my current TiVo drive plus an external 500 WD to my new drive? tia

The only way to do this is to network the TiVo, move all content to a PC using TiVo Desktop, install the 1TB, then move the content back. -
I tried that but the transfers were taking forever, even over gigabyte connection. Do you guy’s offer a faster solution if I drop it off?Comment

Sorry to say, no, we don't have another way. We can't go two drives to one in that situation.Been here a long time . . .Comment

Back in the day, DOS had an xcopy command. Anything like that I can do locally to get recordings onto a new 1 TB more quickly?
