installing 1tb

I am going to remove a 1tb drice I have in another computer and install it in my hd tivo. is it a straight pull and replace deal? I build computers all the time but I have never opened a tivo. I saw the instruction pdf and it looks simple enough.

The physical installation is not difficult, but you need to have the proper TiVo software on the drive for it to function.

You need the specific TiVo software for your model TiVo. All of our self-installation hard drive kits already have the software, so you don't have to worry about it. The kits also come with tools and easy-to-follow instructions.
