  • Recording Capacity of Replacement Drive Issue

    I purchased and installed a 500G replacement hardrive (SKU - rs500dt08) in my TIVO model 649080.

    It's showing that I only have 80 hours recording capacity, when it should have a recording capacity of over 600 hours.

    What course of action should I take?

    Please email your order number to [email protected]. It sounds like your drive wasn't formatted properly somehow.

          Just wanted to complete the loop for the record in the forum.

          I was sent a replacement drive, overnight, which resolved my problem.

          I have purchased several TIVO drives from WeaKnees over the years, and this was the first time I ran into any problem. And when I did this time, WeaKnees was great in taking care of the problem.

          Great customer service.
