Hello,
I am trying to run InstantCake ver Phillips HDR112 on a Quantum 160 gig drive. The HD is jumpered as master and connected to the secondary IDE. The CD drive is connected to the primary IDE and jumpered as master. The computer is pretty standard, an IBM 340 series, nothing fancy or strange about it.
When I boot to instant cake, it does all the Linux boot stuff, then when it gets to partition check hdc: is just hangs, tried it several times and even left it sitting overnight.
When I boot to mfstools, everything looks fine. I fired up fdisk and found a fat32 partition, I deleted it and everything seemed fine.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks,
DrEarp
