I recently bought a 300 GB replacement hard drive from weaKnees.
I installed it in the DVR and booted up the system.
It went through all of the normal configuration and then got to the point where it told me to call DirecTV.
I called DirecTV and then went to the part where it's supposed to dial up.
I cannot get past this part.
I have verified the line is active and it keeps saying the remote service is not answering.
I've tried all of the numbers.
I spoke with DirecTV and they are currently performing a format on the drive.
What could cause this and will the format fix it?
