I have a Whole House DirecTV system installed by DirecTV, consisting of an SL3S Dish for DirecTV programming, a 95° International dish, a SWM-8 multiswitch, a P-29 Power Inserter, an MSPLIT4R1-02 Quad Splitter, a DECABBMR0-01 DirecTV Ethernet Coax Adapter, an MSPLI2R1-03 SWM 2-way Splitter, an HR24/200 DirecTV Plus HD DVR, and two H25/500 DirecTV Plus HD Receivers. The PI-29 Power inserter is connected thru one of the H25/500 receivers, and the DirecTV Ethernet Coax Adapter and 2-way splitter are connected to the other H25/500 receiver. I also have a Time Warner TV cable feed which is still active. I neglected to have it connected to the OFF-AIR input of the SWM-8 multiswitch at initial installation. To temporarily activate it into the whole house system, I diplexed the output of the quad splitter and the cable feed into a Holland STVC diplexer and fed the output into the coax going to the DVR. At the DVR, I diplexed with another Holland STVC diplexer, its DC Pass output into the SWM input port of the DVR, and the VHF/UHF output into the VHF/UHF input of the TV. I was able to get both satellite and cable programs on the DVR but I “lost” being able to record/view recorded programs on the 2 H25/500 receivers. If I replace the Holland STVC diplexers with Holland DPD2, 5-2150 MHz28 VDC/2 Amp max DC pass diplexers, which are 5-21150 MHz, will I be able to reinstate the whole house network? Of course, the final solution is to have DirecTV connect the Cable TV feed into the OFF-AIR port of the SWM-8 multiswitch and diplex out the combined signals at the 3 receiver locations, using DirecTV SWM 2-way splitters or diplexers. I appreciate any feedback. HORSY
