MoCA Network using DECA?
Hello everyone,
Can I use a DIRECTV DECA Adapter (DECA1MR0-01) served by a DirecTV DECA Broadband Router Package/DirecTV Cinema Connection Kit (DCCK) (DECABB1MR0) unit to get internet service across coax to another part of the house where a PC lives? I don't necessarily need to connect the DECA Adapter to a DirecTV Receiver or DVR, but want to extend an ethernet network over Coax like MoCA.
Using it like a MoCA network is what I'm thinking. Can you tell me of any downsides to this?
