    What does DTV install?

    Getting a HD Tivo from WK... Now I need to decide if it is better (cheaper) to have DTV install a new HD dish or do it myself...

    I want to keep my standerd def DirecTIVO in another room and use OTA broadcasts too. So I need the 5 LNB non-SWM dish and a SWM8.

    Will DirecTV install all of this (5LNB nonSWM & SWM8) at once? Do they charge extra?

    Calling them was pointless... Except that install was $19... Is that true?

    Hard to say - we really don't know exactly what they'd do in that situation.

      Are you saying the HD TiVo will not work with a SWM system?

        The THR22 works; any other HD TiVo does not.
