  • OTA over SWM with WHDVR and Internet

I have a SWM8 with my Antenna connected to the OTA port. I also have Whole Home DVR active and an Internet Broadband kit attached. The Whole Home and the Internet are working fine. I've read that I cannot Diplex OTA on this set up because DECA uses the same frequencies for Internet as the OTA Diplexer.

I've also read that there is aDirectv triplexer that will allow me to Triplex SWM, DECA Internet, and OTA. I see it is available on Weaknees. Do install this Triplexer at the receiver end of the cable and everything works or do I need to triplex at the SWM and triplex at the receiver just like I would install a diplexer?

I would like to run the OTA through the same RG6 as the SWM and DECA Internet.

The triplexer appeared on the site by mistake. At this point, there's no way to get all three services (SWM, MRV, OTA/cable) in one cable at the same time.
    Been here a long time . . .

What about the SWM OTA diagram?

I found a SWM OTA diagram on the weeknees site that refers to the triplexer as the OTA solution for Whole-Home, DECA equipment. Is the diagram misstated?

Here is the URL to the diagram: http://www.weaknees.com/pdf/swm-with-diplexer.jpg

      Thanks

That's correct, but the triplexer referred to still hasn't been released.

Ok. You have peaked my interest. Is a triplexer in work by someone that will pass SWM, Whole-Home, DECA, and OTA? If there is, when might it be available?

A device that DIRECTV calls a triplexer does exist, but so far as we understand, it will NOT allow off-air, sat and MRV all on one line to a receiver location.
