SWM16 Splitter Question

I recently installed a SWM 16 and have 5 HD DVRs connected. I have the SWM connected to a 1 x 8 splitter and then have one of the lines coming off the 1 x 8 splitter split with a 1 x 2 splitter. Can you use a splitter on a line that is coming off another splitter? In other words can you use more than one splitter on a SWM 16?

Yes, but each port of the SWM16 can handle a max of 4 DVRs, so you are going to have to use BOTH the SWM1 and SMW2 ports.
