I moved my main DVR with the power box to another location in the same room. Direct TV tells me that I cannot do so and need a tech to fix the system. I ran new cable and hooked in to the SWM box in my attic. They tell me I need to reconnect to the original line. What am I missing - do I just change connections on the SWM. Should I pull the original line and connect to the new line. Help.

by power box ... i quess you mean power inserter.... you need to connect the power inserter to the power passing port on the splitterOriginally posted by jstan View Post -
