The Slim Line Dish with built in SL-5-SWM only requires one cable from the roof into the house instead of using 4 cables and putting the SMW8 inside the house.
Question 1: How does the SL-5-SWM get its power on the antenna? Does it go from the power inserter back up through the same coax cable coming down from the antenna? If so, how is this possible, my system has the outer sheathing of the coax grounded and since the inner core is a single wire, there is not a 2 wire circuit to complete a power feed. Do I have to un-ground this wire?
Question 2: Is there a benefit of sending 4 cables down to a SWM8 inside as opposed to a single cable from an antenna mounted SWM? I am thinking of better picture or some other benefit.
