Probably a real dumb question but I could not tell from all the various wiring sample drawings if only 1 PI is needed for the install or 1 for each receiver.

Any help appreciated.

I am thinking of going with a SWM8 / PI package purchase.

I have HR21-700 in family room with 2 dish cables and a H20 in bedroom with 1 cable. I'd like to upgrade the H20 to another DVR and use MRV so my wife can record more programs. Been putting off climbing up in the attic to run another cable and fishing it down the wall...... not getting any younger!!! So, I thought the SWM would be the answer.
