  • HR-22 cannot find satellites after SWM install

I only have one COAX to each room and wanted to use 2 tuners, so I took out one of my Zinwell 6x8s and installed a SWM with a 4-way splitter. 5-LNB dish with 4 lines to utility room, split into the SWM and the other Zinwell 6X8. I have 95-100 on all pertinent transponders. Three of the 4 HR-22s came up perfectly, but the fourth is showing 0-100, mostly 0 on the same transponders. Randomly.

If I put the line back on the Zinwell with a B-band I get 95-100s and all is fine. I've tried it on each of the four outputs of the splitter, so not that, also other HR-22s work properly and all the other non-DVR receivers are working fine on the Zinwell. Total run dish to ird is about 125', with connections only at the dish, high-freq splitters, SWM, PI and 4-way splitter. No splices in the runs elsewhere, and exactly the same as all the other receivers in the house.

I've used manual dish selection, no B-Band in use and the box simply won't see the birds. Bad box?

first thing id do is to take the other recvrs out of play on that splitter... seee
if the signal comes up ......also you might put the recvr in one of the other locations...
