3 LNB to slimline 5

Ok....I inherited a Slim Line 5 LNB from a friend. Old dish was 3 LNB oval. Had near perfect signal on it. Replaced it with the Slim Line and can't find a signal anywhere. What am I doing wrong? Have even put the 3 LNB head on the slim line and works great.

It's just a very hard dish to orient properly. You might just ask a DirecTV guy to come over and aim it for you.

But if you get no signal at all, you might also try yet another LNB to be sure your 5LNB isn't dead.
