DirecTV had scheduled installation today of a HR (20, 21,or 22) high-def receiver, but had to cancel because they did not have a required component, a SWM 16. I haven't been able to find further info on the SWM 16 on this forum.
- Is this device something new and where can I find more info?
- I presently have a 3-LNB dish, connected to three "Legacy" TIVO DirecTV DVRs. Will they still work properly with the "new" HR and the SWM 16?
- With the SWM 16, can I run one cable to my TIVO DVRs and split it into two when I get to the TIVO DVRs (for the two tuners)>

Can't say I've ever seen a SWM 16. I've heard rumors that they're coming. But I'm pretty sure they're not out. Are you sure about that? We have an E2 package that will support up to 16 tuners in SWM systems:
