I currently have a 5 LNB Directv dish running into my attic and connected to a 6 X 8 multiswitch. Direct runs from the multiswitch go to two tuners on a HR-20, two tuners on another HR 20, two tuners on a R-16, and one tuner each on two additional R-15's maxing out the current configuration. The house was pre-wired so there are two rooms that I cannot get multiple wires to. I would obviously like to activate the additional tuners on the two R-15's and add an additional HR21 and a HR10-250. That would be 14 tuners and would require a 2 SWM package. My question is how many splitters would I need and which ones would be the best? The two R-15's and the HR10-250 require two cables apiece (6 in total). Would they attach through the splitters or legacy ports? I am having trouble thinking through the design of the system even after looking at the wiring diagrams.
