SWM-8 Question

Can I hard-wire up any number of locations in a home to a SWM-8, e.g., one off the internal power supply IRD connection and six off the second SWM-8 port through a SWS splitter, as long as the total number of tuners that are ever connected does not exceed 8? The reason I ask is that most of my house was completely rewired last year with coax pulled to a central location.

Thanks Jeff! As a follow-up, is there any difference in the signal strength / quality coming off the inserter's IRD port or the SWM-8's SWM-2 port? In other words, is there any advantage in routing one of these to the coax central location vs. running the other?

No, no difference, although we recommend that you use the power inserter on a short run if you are not going to install it in the central wiring location.
