Background.
I have SL5 which was originally installed with an H21 DVR. Works great. The techs configured things with a B converter module into each tuner input, which took one each output from the SL5. There should be a 4 total (I think), but they only connected 3 cables: 2 that go from the SL5 to the H21, and a single (3ft) cable wrapped up at the SL5.
Now.
I am trying to add 2 standard rcvrs in 2 different bedrooms. I took that 3rd cable and connected it to one of the rcvrs and it worked great. I am now trying to determine how to proceed to add the 2nd rcvr. I would like to not have to disconnect the LNB's from the SL5 in order to tap into what should be a 4th output. Is it possible to use a splitter or insert a 1:2 multiswitch so the two rcvrs can run from that one cable output from the SL5?
Thanks, Walt.
