SWM DVR question

a few Q's

1) i want to add an additional dvr for the wifes tv, it could be any of the swm compatible ones but I want to own it not lease it. could be SD so R16,R22,R23,D12,D13 or HD HR20,HR21,HR22,HR23 are all candidates. Probably go SD due to receiver availability.

Would like to hear which would be best cost/performance choice for SD DVR.

2) with say a R16 will the SWM work for both tuners on the single line like my HR22 does now? Anything special on getting the unit running on both tuners?

1 - As far as we know, the only SWM compatible DVR that would be owned and not leased would be the HR21 Pro.

2 - Right - the R16 would be the same as the HR22 in getting two signals from one line.

Been here a long time . . .

are you saying that the R16 should be able to use both tuners off the SWM line just like the HR22?
