  • Is a cable locker "inside"?

I am thinking about installing a SWM-8 in order to expand the number of HD dvrs in my home. Currently the cables from the dish run through the roof and down inside an outside wall into a cable locker (cabinet). This is a weatherproof enclosure with the cover on the outside of the house. It currently houses the 6x8 multiswitch, from which run cables to all the rooms of the house.
As long as this area is dry--although it can get quite warm (we're in southern NV), would this meet the requirements for placing the power inserter "indoors"? (The locker does have a power outlet inside.)

I would recommend that you put the SWM in the box but the power inserter in the house. There is no reason that I can see that you would not do that, assuming you are using only one SWM8.
