I live in Houston and am planning on installing the power inserter in the attic where I have easy access to a power outlet. What is the operating temperature range of the various DTV approved power inserter? I saw where the SWM8 Operating Temp Range is -29 to 125 deg F which is ok since it would be installed outdoors. However, for the PI the attic temperature may exceed that in summer. Have you heard of any problems with PIs being installed in attics in the Southern areas of US?
