SWM install with Legacy receivers

I'm in a multi-unit condo with 5 homes sharing 5 LNB dish.

Currently, the other units in the condo are using non-swm receivers.

The 5 LNB dish is connected to a multi-plexer which has 2 lines going to each condo.

My question is, assuming that there are 4 connectors available on the existing multi-plexer, can I connect a SWM multiplexer to the existing multiplexer and then run the two SWM outputs to my condo unit and have everything work?

Technically, DirecTV does not support attaching a SWM to another multiswitch. But it may work. We haven't tried it, but from the way these work, it stands to reason that this can work.
