Recording time left

Recording time left

I have a Time Warner Scientific American 8300HD box with Sara software. With an additonal external HD will the "recording time left" take into account the additional time available on the external drive, or will it show zero time left when the 8300HD box is filled up?

No - it'll take it into account. It basically sees both drives as one big storage area.
