Loss of DVR Functionality

I am thinking of purchasing either your 750MB or 1TB external plug and play drives for my SA 8300HD box. Will I lose any of my current DVR functionality with an external drive? For example, the ability to fast forward or rewind live TV, the ability to record/watch multiple programs, etc...

No, not at all. The drive simply expands your storage capacity.
