i just received in the mail a 400 gig seagate hard drive...as suggested by cablevision tech support to upgrade my storage on my new hd8200.

im gonna hook it up later tonight and see what happens....ill let u all know

im doing this on cablevision...brooklyn ny

i would love to know if it is possible to recover any data from this drive using a drive image program....understanding that the cablebox may reformat it after
