Maxtor Quickview Problem

I have the HD8300 and have been using the Maxtor SATA kit for some time, today the box showed no recordings and now I cant get it reinstalled, I remember there were specific installation instructions nad I cant find them, can anyone Email me a copy of the installation instructions and the order to do things?

Have you tried just rebooting the 8300? Do you see any recordings at all on the internal drive?

Been here a long time . . .

I have tried it

The cabel box will work fine without the external HD, I rebooted it with the hard drive and it stays in a loop, flashinng boot and few other things, but never resets, The box is working without the External HD, and it showed no recordings saved
