Replaced Hard Drive

I've got a couple of old ReplayTV HS-2000 recorders. One was activing up and I ordered/received a new hard drive. Once installing it, the unit would not get past the screen "please wait a few moments." I tried the new hard drive in the ReplayTV unit that was working fine and got the same result. I put the original drive back in and can't get it to work now either. Any ideas?

Are you using a blank hard drive or did you buy it from us, pre-programmed?

Bought it from Weaknees. Previous hard drives bought from you have been very straight forward and have worked with no issues.

Are you sure you have everything connected properly? Removing and replacing a drive should not cause the old drive not to work....it sure sounds like a cabling/installation problem.
