Was out of town for four days. When I returned I found that I was getting no signal from my DirecTV unit.
I have confirmed all of the following:
current HDMI cable to KNOWN WORKING TV HDMI port - FAIL
KNOWN WORKING HDMI cable to current TV HDMI port - FAIL
KNOWN WORKING HDMI cable to KNOWN WORKING TV HDMI port - FAIL
composite cable to TV coposite port - WORKS!
Tried all of the above after a unit reset with the same results
The KNOWN WORKING cable and ports were used by a current PS3 unit which is working fine.
I found that some storms rolled through when I was gone and have found some reported issues of HDMI ports failing after storms. Is there any way to confirm and then repair this issue?
