HR23 transfer programming to external HD

Hello all, I have a HR23 that has been having lots of problems. I contacted my dealer (I'm on the commercial side of this business) and they are sending me a new box (not sure the model since I haven't received it yet but I know it uses the B-Band converters).

My question is can I attach an USB external hard drive and save off all my programs to be copied into the new box?

OK, thanks. I just wanted to keep the old programs. I guess they will just have to live without them....
