Times warner and smart card

Has anyone in the SC area had any luck connecting into TW system with a "access card"? When I talk with them they don't seem to know how to connect using the card and make everything very difficult. They are not very forthcoming with info.

You're in a DirecTV forum, and an "access card" in this area would be a DirecTV access card, meant for use with DirecTV equipment, with DirecTV service.

It sounds like you're talking about a CableCARD for a standalone TiVo with Time Warner. Is that right?

If you can confirm, we should be able to you get you started down the right path.
