Is it possible to convert a Directv HDD to be used on a pc?
Is it possible to convert a Directv HDD to be used on a pc?
I have come across 2 Hr20 700's and was wondering if its possible to convert the hard drive to be used on a PC or as an external drive for storage?? dumb question?
Some of the drives in these units are locked and can't be reused. If it's a WD, you're probably out of luck. If it's a Seagate, you should be able to reformat it in your PC.
