Problem with TiVo connected to DirecTV

I just connected my older series 2 TiVo to a non-HD TV. The TV is connected to DirecTV. I downloaded and followed instructions on how to do this.

The TiVo is downloading information now and appears to be working fine. However, I can't get a satellite signal on the DirecTV -- it just says searching for signal.

Any suggestions?

What is the exact message? If it is saying searching for satellite signal, then that is coming out of your DIRECTV receiver (assuming your Tivo and DIRECTV receiver are separate boxes).
