DirecTV Hughes DVR2 Lockup

I have a DirecTV Hughes DVR2 for the past 3 years and now it is constantly needing to be unplugged then restarted. I've cleared the hard drive and actually have ordered a new drive from weaKnees which I will install tomorrow. Just wonder if anyone has had this problem. It is getting progressively worse day by day.

That's a classic hard drive problem. The replace kit should do the trick.
