HR-21 Loss of signal & Recordings

After 2 months the HR-21 (1 tb.) DVR has lost signal twice in one week, reset box to restore. Also have experienced the lost recording problem once.

After reading the forum I entered the 0 2 4 6 .. sequence and received a " found new software message 022D".

Question: is this actually a new software download or a forced download of the software the HR-21 came with?

0221 was from early April, so 022D is surely a newer version.

Been here a long time . . .
